The basic rate already includes the Reduction of franchise (SCDW) and the Exemption for theft / Protection against theft (TW / TP), for which a franchise would apply in case of damages:
- The Franchise Reduction (SCDW), which is not an insurance product, reduces the mandatory franchise.
- The Theft Exemption / Theft Protection (TW / TP) covers the loss or damage of the rental vehicle due to theft, attempted theft or vandalism up to the amount of the local franchise indicated at the time of picking up the vehicle and It is subject to the payment of the mandatory franchise, depending on the country of rental and the category of vehicle.
You can contract other online coverages during the booking process to reduce or eliminate the franchise. These are displayed on the "Choose your extra options" page.
Relax:
When you purchase this coverage, the security deposit will decrease to 300 € and we’ll also cover any damage to the tyres and windows. The premium road side assistance will apply for the following scenarios:
- Fueling mistake (with a maximum of 500 €): assistance is covered; damages and other necessary additional services are not covered.
- Run out of fuel (we will send assistance to collect the vehicle): assistance is covered; damages and other necessary additional services are not covered.
- Rescue: unfit roads, beaches and forest areas (with a maximum of 500 €): assistance is covered; damages and other necessary additional services are not covered.
-Roadside assistance in the event that the side or back windows are broken (we will send roadside assistance): assistance is covered; damages and other necessary additional services are not covered.
-Roadside assistance in the event that the keys are lost or damaged: assistance is covered; damages and other necessary additional services are not covered.
- Flat tyre: roadside assistance (we will send roadside assistance): assistance is covered; damages and other necessary additional services are not covered.
Super Relax Cover
When you purchase this coverage, the CDW Excess is waived and we will also cover the following:
FREE phone assistance 24 hours a day, wheel, tyres, hubcaps, locks, windows, side and rearview mirrors, running gear, motor, tow truck service after an accident, taxi (transport), clutch, battery, locks, key copy and delivery of the key to the nearest halfway location, damage to the oil pan, catalytic converter, radiator and exempt of a new deposit for the replacement vehicle in case of an accident or damage and the repair period.
Mega Relax
The Mega Relax coverage is not sold separately, it is an extra coverage added to the relax coverage and it protects you from:
- Fueling mistakes (with a maximum of 500 €*). This is not covered by our Super Relax coverage; it is only covered by our Mega Relax coverage.
- Run out of fuel (we will send assistance to collect the vehicle). This is not covered by our Super Relax coverage; it is only covered by our Mega Relax coverage.
- Rescue: unfit roads, beaches and forest areas (with a maximum of 500 €*). This is not covered by our Super Relax coverage; it is only covered by our Mega Relax coverage.
- Incorrect installation of internal accessories. This is not covered by our Super Relax coverage; it is only covered by our Mega Relax coverage.
- Roadside assistance in the event that the side or back windows are broken (we will send roadside assistance). With the Super Relax coverage we will cover the damages of the windows, but do not provide roadside assistance. The roadside assistance is covered in the Mega Relax coverage.
-Roadside assistance in the event that the keys are lost or damaged. With the Super Relax coverage we cover the main value, but not all the assistance involved. The Mega Relax coverage covers the necessary assistance to replace the key, such as the replacement keys, the taxi that’ll take you to the nearest location, the delivery of the keys…etc.
- Flat tyre: roadside assistance (we will send roadside assistance). With the Super Relax coverage we will cover the damages to the tyres, but we do not provide roadside assistance. The roadside assistance is provided with the Mega Relax coverage.
