Our available coverages are not linked to the deposit. The purpose of the deposit is to cover additional charges (such as an additional rental day) that may occur during the rental period. It has to be paid in all cases, and cannot be avoided.
We do have a range of coverages for other purposes, such as reducing the excess. You can choose the coverage you need on the "Choose Extras" page when booking your car on the website.
For reservations made for Portugal and the United Kingdom from May 15 and with collection from June 1, 2018, you can hire our Super Relax coverage, not only eliminates the need to leave a franchise, but is also covered for theft, damage to sheet metal, paint, wheels, tires, windows, car locks, mirrors, loss of keys, taxi or crane services in case of accident or battery recharge.
For bookings made for Italy starting on the 6th of September and vehicle collection starting on the 16th of October 2018, bookings made for Spain starting on the 16th of August and vehicle collection starting on the 6th of November 2018 or bookings made for France starting on the 20th of August and vehicle collection starting on the 2nd of October 2018:
You can hire our Super Relax coverage; it doesn’t just get rid of the deposit, you’ll also be covered against theft, damages to the exterior, paint, wheels, tyres, windows, underside of the car, rearview mirrors, lost keys, taxi or tow truck services in the event there’s an accident or the battery needs to be refilled.
