What happens if I return the car late?

We understand that, on occasion, the car can not be returned at the exact time, so InterRent offers a courtesy period of 29 minutes. From that moment on, you will calculate your fare by adding an extra day for every additional 24 hours you have had the car and a penalty for delay will apply. Contact the rental office for explain the situation.

IMPORTANT: remember that your insurance only covers the period established in the rental agreement you signed when the car is recognized.

For reservations made for Portugal and the United Kingdom from May 15 and with delivery from June 1, 2018, we offer 1 hour of courtesy for the return of the vehicle.

For bookings made for Spain before the 16th of August and vehicle collection before the 6th of November, the grace period is 59 minutes.

For bookings made for France before the 20th of August and vehicle collection before the 2nd of October, the grace period is 59 minutes.

For bookings made for Italy before the 6th of September and vehicle collection before the 16th of October, the grace period is 59 minutes.
